So this is basically clear window tint you apply on the outside if I understand it correctly?

I'm pretty skeptical of that page -- it's full of generic buzzwords. When I look at the specs for window tint, they provide a lot of data on visible light transmission, glare, clarity, etc. These guys just seem to say "trust us, it's good". If anyone can dig up detailed specs on these films, it will go a long way.

My two cents is that I see no need for this unless you are constantly driving behind gravel trucks or through dust storms.
