That's funny. I guess if I took out the passenger seat, I could be well under 3,000 pounds....

Car feels good, now it's just time to focus on my driving. Planning to do a few days with a driving pro. We are weeks away from good weather in AZ finally so excited to get some seat time.

A gallon of gas is 6.3 lbs.

A 275-35-18 Nitto NT01 weighs 28.19 lbs (according to Nitto's website)
A 275-35-18 Hoosier R7 weighs 23 lbs (according to TireRack's website)
Difference in tire weight per tire: 5.19 lbs

Total difference in tire weight when running R7 vs NT01: 20.76 lbs lighter

10 gallons of gas weighs: 63 lbs

SO-------if you were to list the dry weight of your car running R7's, you could say that your car weighs: 3080 minus 63 minus 20.76 = 2996.24 lbs

"Yeah, my car weighs, uh you know, just under 3000 lbs."

That sounds much better!

Hi Frosty
I see you have marked lifting point in the middle of the car.. how did you manage to do that? is it reinforced?

thanks

When you build a cage you can add lift points.

I've seen this car in person and I've jacked it up to help do a wheel swap. There is a very short section of cage tubing at that spot that protrudes out the bottom of the car, and the jack presses against the end of the tube. I didn't look to see how/if it's reinforced.

It works well. Both wheels lift simultaneously.

This is an all-in race car, full of fantastic details and features---fire suppression, kill switches, advanced panel and button layout concepts, helmet cooling, cool shirts, full AIM/video system, extra cooling for things like diff, gold foil wrapped engine parts, wiring, cage concepts, fiberglass doors, suspension, extreme gutting all the way back to a bare sub-frame, aero---the rear diffuser is especially nicely implemented, the list goes on and on....it is a meticulous build. Many many hours went into this car.

Thinking about selling this car

I absolutely love this track built car but many things in my life have changed and I am just not getting to use the car much. The car still looks the same as when it was built as it has a very low amount of hours on it. If someone out there wants a clean, high end built E92, this is turn key. I am not overly eager to sell it but have come to the realization that a street car is something I can enjoy daily and then take it to the track occasionally. Won’t be nearly as much fun or as fast but for my current situation it will suit me better, at least for now.

If anyone has any interest, please email @ jbnint@msn.com for more info.
