how did she photoshop this pic???

OK so I enter in a photoshop contest in my school and this is 2 of the pics won last year contest unfortunately the girl that did it move to Russia and nobody knows her contact info. I will like to find out how she did this 2 photoshop pics they look great

does somebody knows??? or can explain me?

honestly i think the first one looks horrible. you just use the lasso to select only the girl's body, copy onto a new layer, put in a nice background, then lower the opacity on the body layer. the lighting is done with a filter under lighting effects.

the second one is better, but still choppy.

i'd say the creativity is good, but execution needs work.

that's the opacity, it is in the layers window.

The masking is pretty bad, the pen tool would have been much more useful around the parts like the arms.
