Le Mans Blue Wheel Suggestions?

Last week I purchased a 2013 e92 ZCP m3 with 60k miles. The only problem was the previous owners removed the stock ZCP wheels for his new car.

Are there any suggestions on which wheels look best on the Le Mans Blue M3? I love the OEM ZCP wheels but I want to explore all options first!

New to this thread so I hope to learn a lot from other M3 owners in the future. Thanks.

Welcome and congrats on the purchase. I think the OEM Competition Package wheels (359) look great. They're a classic design.

I'd suggest searching through some of the threads on here dedicated to that color and to the different wheels. It's entirely subjective and ultimately YOU are the one that has to like it because it's your car.

I agree, its really difficult chosing between the 359 colors as well (matte black, gloss black, silver). It can also be overwhelming having a blank canvas as a vehicle with endless amounts of options to mod, with a limited budget. Appreciate the response.

Le Mans is really similar to Interlagos when in the shade so you can search that color as well as le mans to get a good idea. I personally think the OEM hyper silver looks the best, with a close following of hyper black like the OEM E39 M5 wheels or even a hyper chrome look, looks great.

This is hyper chrome

The OEM hypersilver is still my favorite. It's classy and understated. Doesn't scream "look at me" but still shows off the detail of the wheels.

Hypersilvers look great, but for a brand new OEM set costing between $2300 and $2500 I want to make sure I find the right set of wheels for me.

Also wondering how black accents such as kidney grills and fender side grills would look with the hyper silvers. going to scroll through some pics on the forum to find out.

My car is exactly what you're looking for. I've got AG M359 replicas in hypersilver, which I don't suggest, with black accents like kidneys hood vents mirror caps etc...

Not LeMans, but to give you an idea of finishes on dark blue from some of our favorite customer cars.

I love the way those BBS' look on the blue, might have to spend a little extra and get a set. I had aftermarket BBS wheels on my last car (Mercedes) and loved the durability and how easy they were to maintain!

Their finish is garbage and has already started to chip and flake off. Less than 2k miles on them. They're good if you go in expecting something to happen and not surprised when it does. Some have had no issues, I'm not one of those and they didn't warranty anything so I can't support a company who can't stand behind their own shit. Get a nice used set of OEMs

Get a used set and refinish them. Way less than $2500.

Something worth considering: the OEM 18" wheels (219 or 260 style) are already a gunmetal/anthracite color and look really good. They can be had really cheap and the tires are also very reasonable. Here's a whole thread to convince you: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1283139

I currently have 18's on my m3 which i hope to use in the winter here in the Northeast, looking for 19s for the summer. I agree that the price for tires on the 18's is more reasonable too. Thanks for sharing!

You in NH? Noticed the inspection sticker, unless there’s another state that also puts it there because it’s new for us.

Those are the original ZCP wheels, had a local shop refinish them in gunmetal
