Dinan bars are adjustable? I have one...it has 1 hole and never came with end links. I bought it direct from Dinan...hmmm...

I have that one too. It's the original Dinan solid bar design. They redesigned it, made it tubular, larger in diameter, and 3-hole adjustable (I think it's 3) while also including adjustable endlinks.

It flattens the car out dramatically. I haven't noticed much of a ride difference, but that was on Vegas streets. In DC it's a bit brutal (I'm riding on Eibach pro kit springs w/stock dampers).

I had the same issue as Richbot had w/the links being a bit longish. I'm on the middle setting also.

Unfortunately, since putting it on I haven't tracked it, but I have driven it from Vegas to DC...

you might want to set at soft to match with Eibach spring rate.

with how wonderful the e9X corners it's hard to imagine it being significantly better

I've gotta stop being lazy and just install my sway bars!

I will try that once I get an adjustable end link as the stock Dinan one doesn't really work on the lowest setting. Oddest thing I've ever seen from Dinan.

Bimmerworlds and Tuner motorsport offer them for a decent price.

How do you like the Dinan front sway bar so far?

I'm going through a nightmare with my install. I can't seem to get rid of a clunking noise. When I put on the oem links, the noise is gone. As soon as I put the Dinan links back on, the noise returns. All nuts are very tight, and I can't see it hitting anything. I can't figure this one out...

Are you self installing? Not on a lift? That may help

it was installed in a lift twice. I took them off and on 3x now. i cant seem to figure this one out. the only thing i notice is the dinan links are about 1/2" longer than stock. everytime i put my stock links back on the noise goes away but they are so close to my brake lines that makes me uncomfortable. i can see a shiney spot on the arm so i know its hitting something. the dinan links install on the other side of the bar and offers better clearances but the clunk is driving me insane. I'm starting to think maybe it's the shock mounts or somerhing.

Are you the guy who bought Dinan parts on Amazon?

Yes- the Dinan Endlinks will be longer, as they're adjustable. Depending on where you have them set now, they'll be longer then OEM.

You need to follow instructions on proper installation, including adjustment while on alignment rack.

Shortest is too long. I only had a lift in my garage, not an alignment rack as I couldn't convince the wife that was a safety issue. However, I put the car on ramps when I adjusted the links so yeah, they're too long for me anyway.

It helped stop the roll a bit. I like it.

How did you determine they were too long btw? The only difference between oem and the dinan links are that the dinan ones are a 1/2" longer than stock. I feel like chopping a 1/2" off and seeing if that would make the noise go away.

Take this with a grain of salt, but on more than one car I've had a clunking noise from the end link, and each time that was solved by seriously tightening the bolt through the end link.

Sway bar end should sit in the same plane that the stock one did. See how it looks on the ground with the stock bar, install the new bar and match.

Clunking is usually a loose end link. If you don't have a thin wrench to hold the boot side of the end link, it's hard to get it tight.

SOB, i just found out the original links can't be uaed on the dinan bar either. it just severed my abs wire at full lock. I'm going to order the turner adjustable links tomorrow, I'm praying it will end my misery.
