BBS FI-R with spacers or save trouble and go for BBS FI?
IND claims BBS FI-R will fit on e92 with 10mm rear spacers.
Are there any issues with going for that instead of BBS FI? Will the spacers make wheels look pushed out or it'll just align it as if it was BBS FI without spacers? If actually pushed out more, is there a concern for rub, even if the car is non-competition pkg and not lowered? http://ind-distribution.com/ind/bran...9-bbs-fi-wheel http://ind-distribution.com/ind/bran...fi-r-wheel-set From what I've read, it should be fine. I prefer the look of FI-R a little more (sharper curves), the lower weight is a cherry on top. I'd like to avoid issues with vibrations, rubbing though. Cheers!

iND doesn't list the offset of the FI-R. Any idea what they are?

Nope, only a rep said: "The 19" FI-R will work with a 10mm spacer in the rear."

I thought the R would cost more due to the added machining.

FI rear offset isn't great. It rubs if lowered on a 295/30-19 supersport.

The rear offset is atrocious on the FI-R, which is a shame because in my opinion they are much more aggressive and better looking than the FI

The 19" FI doesn't have idea offsets.
The fronts could be at least 5mm more aggressive and the rears are 5mm too aggressive and rub with 295/30-19 if you're lowered.

if money were no object I would happily run the BBS FI-R, although running a 2k wheel with a spacer just sounds wrong
vibrations are another issue as gordon mentions below

there is no way in hell I would run a set of FI-Rs with spacers. just get a proper set of fitting FI and be done with it. adding spacers would just defeat the purpose, and you will notice a slight vibration.

FI offset too aggressive in the rear for 295's. FIR with spacers would be my choice. Correctly installed spacers will not cause vibration. FIR offsets are designed for F8x platform which requires a less aggressive rear offset. An even better option is the 18" RIA. Cheaper, better offsets, and looks just as good as FI IMO. FIR is next level with the spoke cutouts but you pay $$$
