E90 M3 sedan, a better performer than the E92?
Now that the M3 sedan (saloon) is being unleased and test driven most of the publications and magazines are posting better performance figures than they did with the E92. I know the sedan is still top of the tree along with the coupe and its engineering proves it, I mean it only weighs 50lbs more than the coupe. But Why is it quicker, have the press guys gotten used to the M3 and know how to more aggressively better?
Either way it still kicks ass, though the purists may call it a sell out. |

e92 M3 = jessica alba
e90 M3 = jessica biel so this argument is pointless. doesn't matter which one you pick, you will end up with something HOT. now flame away! lol |

Huh? The E30 M3 coupe was (and still is) one of the best handling, most entertaining drives around.

best test for the coupe I have seen is 0-60 in 4.1 which bests the recent sedan test. the coupe is almost 2 inches lower than the sedan and with CF roof vs moonroof it will have a lower center of gravity. the copue also has closer to 50-50 wt balance so the coupe should handle better too. its awesome the provide a choice but the coupe should have a slight edge in performence.

e46 sedans are stiffer than the coupes but with the e90/92's, the coupe is claimed to be stiffer by 25% compared to the sedan

hypothetically coupe w/o fold down rear seats = stiff as sedan w/o fold down rear seats. |
