There are only two oxygen sensors that affect the way the car runs ("upstream"; ahead of the front catalytic converters). Right now they are on Amazon for $118 each (Bosch 17039), take about 30 minutes to replace. These are easily accessible one the car is on a lift.

How many track days between oil changes? You should keep up on this if you are tracking the car. I absolutely punish my car, BTW, so I can share with you what I've done to the car since.

I have put 23 track days on my car so far, and I'm changing the oil out every 3-4 track days or 5000-7500 miles.

I have 122k miles on the car, over 80k of which I put on in the last two years. I've had to do the following repairs:

* DCT oil pan leak and side gasket leak at 52k miles. Replaced under BMW NA goodwill.
* Bad IBS cable - car was not starting. I replaced it, but this turned out to be a red herring though. I had the problem happen to me once more, but after wiggling the battery cable connected to the fuse box and making sure all the fuses were reseated, I haven't had this happen to me again.
* Engine coolant temperature sensor - 117k miles and 122k miles (2x) - got a TSB on this, broke as a result of vibration/track use
- 2 hours of charged labor, harness was 19.26, sensor was 41.13
* Valve chain tensioner broke at 110k miles (made a nasty sound at idle as the chain was slapping against the side of the block). I put the car on a tow to the mechanic for this one. Since they had the valve cover off, I had them replace the gasket as a preventative maintenance item. (Cylinders 5-8)
* At 121k miles, seeping of oil on the driver side (Cylinders 1-4) through the valve cover gasket. Had this replaced as well.
* I did the spark plugs at 112k miles since I didn't remember when the last time I had changed them. They weren't throwing codes or giving me problems, but after 15 track days I figured it was a good idea.
* Engine mounts replaced at 112k miles - these are made of hollow rubber filled with fluid, and will split open like molten chocolate cake. I discovered this because my Macht Schnell Stage 2 intake wasn't staying clamped on properly. This is what it looked like -

You can inspect the motor mounts through the front wheel well. Turn the wheels to the side when you're parked and peer through:

Car runs beautifully though, sounds great and idle, and pulls like a freight train even now. I redline her every day. I have probably redlined the car > 8000 times now.
