EDC Settings for first DE?
Next weekend will be my first DE in the new M3. What is the general consensus on which EDC setting to use? I had originally planned on using the sport setting but is that setting adaptive? or just the comfort and normal?
Thanks |

It's really based on your preference but some say the following is reasonable:
Rain/ wet - EDC soft Dry - I suggest trying both normal and sport. If the track is smooth you won't feel too much difference between the two. If the track is bumpy then you will definitely feel the car a bit more unsettled over big bumps in the firm/sport setting or if you like to run over the bumpy part of the gator again, you'll feel the car jump sideways a bit (depending on speed). Yes, normal and soft are "adaptive" and sport is a fixed setting. |

TWS CCW?
I'd try Normal (adaptive) and then Sport. That should help with the transition into T1, but I've not driven an M3 at TWS. |

The Drivers Edge Event
You guessed it Texas World Speedway. I've been there several times in my 2008 Red Audi TT 3.2, but this will be my first time in the M3. Thanks for the info

i would suggest the edc on normal or soft to start. not familiar with your track but the one i use in washington is fairly bumpy and the car tends to stay more settled and feels faster when the suspension does some of the work. less side to side and easier to handle

Thanks for the information guys. I'm looking forward to not getting blown away on the straights after tailgating some a-hole in a vette for 3miles
