69,000$ for a e92 m3?

The dealer is not really willing to budge much of of the msrp of the car. It is an 08 m3 coupe, premium sound, tech package 6mt, extended leather, and 19's. Sticker after all the options is 69k and change. I was going to offer 63. Is that resonable? I mean its about invoice only 205 below invoice....

I'm disputing $1200 over invoice....at $65K for an 08 Coupe with Cold, Prem, Tech, DCT, moonroof, extended leather, 18s, IPod, etc. I guess I should feel lucky. Anything over $500 to $700 over invoice for an already depreciated car is too much. 2009s are already hitting the streets. Start with the invoice price and work up.....not MSRP working down.

my guess is thats the one with the beige interior?
most dealers got those early on April/May i think
so that cars' been sitting on his lot for a looooing time
sticker was 69,745
check out this link about half way down the page for the ones priced at 69,745

http://www.cars.com/go/search/search...e&pageNumber=1

call those dealers till you find one that is living in the real world
i would not pay over 64K for this car with those options
for 69 you can get a convertible

there is also a used one asking 59.9
http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...e=&cardist=326
i'd offer 52 or 53
they had it on ebay twice
first time they got 50K and second time ended at 46

I think that each BMW dealer in the USA got at least one of those MR/BB Coupes at $69,745 at introduction... I saw at least 10 of those when I was doing my search of inventories.

Offer them a firm $300 above invoice. Only $500 more than what you wanted to spend, enough to give the CA alittle something for the trouble, and you still get a decent deal.

$1200 over invoice is pushing the limits of what is acceptable right now, imho.

I totally agree. I originally got quoted $1000 over invoice and when I told the CA over the phone that I was not in a hurry to buy and that I'm sure other dealers will be willing to give me a better price, he called me back 5 minutes later saying it was my lucky day and offered $500 over invoice. Now I'm thinking I can get it for STRAIGHT INVOICE lol.. we'll see.. but yeah.. no more than $500 over is the best so far I've seen.. but then again like you said.. others have been getting them for way less...

Many dealers are willing to sell at invoice. I got made an offer for invoice at Coast BMW in San Luis Obispo, CA and it was accepted. I ended up not buying and opted for an 09 but that goes to show you that you shouldn't pay more than invoice ($500-$1000 above invoice for a DCT) on an 08.

I got another call today from my CA and the manager is now willing to sell me the car for $500 BELOW INVOICE on a 08 M3! Its amazing what a little waiting does...
