EDC component besides struts

I replaced my struts with non-edc struts, now the ride is predictably rough/sporty all the time, this was expected, just not this bad.

Does the EDC system have components other than the struts which are also adjustable? Meaning is it possible to have a bit gentler ride by adjusting those, since the struts aren't a perfect match?
