Have been doing some digging around online but haven't gotten any definitive answers.

Has anyone had experience fitting a 285/35/18 square set onto a car with stock suspension? Concerned about if/how much it will rub.

Intention is it to get a set of 18x10 track wheels. Suspension is stock, non-competition, non-EDC.

Thank you!

you will be ok , i run 18x10et25 with 275/35/18 and i may change to 18x10.5 et 22 and 285 or 295 square.

But if you still have stock everything I would put 275 square and a set of coilover.

285/35/18 = 25.9in tire stock is 25.7 You may rub a lil bit the fender liner. I ve already run 26 tire up front and they rub but nothing crazy.

Thank you!

Would you recommend spacers at all?

I ran that same wheel/tire setup but I was on coilovers.

You will rub the fender liner at full lock, but it was a great setup, I went down to 275/35/18 to try another tire, but I miss that setup and should have went with 285/35/18 RS4s.

Did you run spacers with your setup?

275/35/18 max I would go in the front, you don't want to rub the fender liner at full turn.

I ran a 285/35-18 up front (RS3) on 18x10 ET25's for a little while. It hit stuff on my stockish-suspension E90. I would stick with a 275, especially if you're using a wide-running track tire - juice isn't worth the squeeze IMO

What size 275s did you run? 275/40/18?

Looking at running the Hankook RS4s.

275/35-18 is the size that fits easily all around on these cars. 275/40-18 fits fine in back, not up front, at all

Looking at running the Hankook RS4s.
The 275/35/18's have to be ordered direct from Hankook Motorsport, they don't seem to be available from TireRack/DiscountTire/etc anymore.
If anyone finds them elsewhere I'd love a link!
