Sure some people are impatient. But, I think what most people were concerned about was the lack of communication.

Slon could have just mentioned there was a delay or he was going on vacation or whatever the reason is. He just ghosted members and some had thousands of dollars hanging out there for Brembo kits.

FYI I have Slon's DCT pan and it is a very nice part. Luckily I got mine in a timely manner.

Yeah, he likely could have done a better job at communication. But at the end of the day, Slon is a Russian boutique machine shop that manufactures some really cool aftermarket BMW parts. One would assume that the BMW parts are a side business of an existing machine shop as I doubt he sells enough BBK and DCT pans to pay the mortgage.

We should all just be happy that people like him exist and have a little patience and understanding.

So you just ordered and he's shipping it within a week? That's amazing compared to ordering them and then not hearing anything for several months after repeatedly trying to get in touch. When you add to the fact that several other people were experiencing the same thing, patience wasn't an issue and it wasn't blown out of proportion.

At least it looks like communication is somewhat improved so that's great.

He makes both the bottom pan and side pan. Also sells a kit that has both pans together. Purchased the bottom pan from him about two months ago and it arrived in about 3 weeks.

I recently received a side pan as well as a bottom pan from him. And brake brackets to mount my pfc z54 e9x bbk to the f8x bbk

His communication is not the greatest but then again, he doesn't have any real competition. I'd use him again (in fact this shipment was the second time) without a moment's hesitation.
Every dct M3 I have will end up with his pan, because unlike other bullshit parts his pan actually makes a difference

But if it $1200 for the bottom pan how much for the side pan . ?

Seems like a crazy price for a small transmission oil pan ... and I have some expensive shiet on my car...

More than one of the people that was complaining so much about not receiving Sloniks goods... well, they received them eventually after Paypal had refunded their money and never paid for them.
Probably still complaining about his lack of communication while they have stolen goods on their cars

Yikes I did not hear about that. I know I had to get assistance from PayPal, but once I got my parts, slonik got his money in full.
