Garage List
2008 E90 M3  [0.00]
2006 E90 330i  [0.00]
4 doors and 3 pedals all the way. I originally looked for a SG E90 M3 to match my daily driven E90 330i

My wife convinced me to get another color. Sometimes i think it was weird but this color really does it for me. I ended up getting a SSII E90 M3 6MT instead. But everytime i see one it still makes me drool. Great pickup. The SG color adds more rarity on it.

Here's my daily

Thanks! Your car looks great, I see so many more SG 330's out here than I did back east!

I had my car flashed with the Gintani NA tune and Steering Servotronics upgrade late last week and then went out to Buttonwillow Raceway on Saturday to play with it (Thanks Josh @SpeedDistrict). Absolutely love the way the car drives on the street and on the track. The car is faster and more responsive even with my stock cats. The steering is such an improvement as well. At high speed there is way more confidence turning in and just an all around better performing car. Highly recommend doing this to your E9x, if you have any questions feel free to ask or PM.

Thanks dude! Appreciate it! I'm jealous of your stable over there!

Also popped in a Rogue Engineering SSK and F10 M5 knob. Had to modify the SSK to fit the the F10 knob.

Can you elaborate on the NA tune and servotronic update? Curious as to what these do exactly

Nice clean mods! I too had a blip w/ ZHP knob and Rouge SSK not staying connected. F10 ZHP weighted knob looks great.

For my NA tune, it changes the timing, fuel, vanos, torque limits, top speed limiter removed, and slight throttle changes as dyno tested and perfected by Alex at Gintani. That base tune he created and dyno'd then gets flashed into the car..unless the customer wants other specific items modified to their desire.

There's also cold start delete, increased rev limiter (8500,8700,9000, or anywhere to your preference), burble (for cat deleted cars only), and CEL removal for being catless.

The steering servotronics raises the parameters of the steering sensitivity through the computer increasing stiffness in regular and M mode.

The throttle sensitivity is the tricky one, because more responsive throttle is often misinterpreted as more power. This tune does both - increase power and throttle, but it is more conservative on the throttle sensitivity. Some choose to raise the sensitivity of the throttle response beyond where this tune is set.

Thanks! Yeah the base of the RE SSK where the shifter slides on to is too fat and hinders the knob from locking onto the rod. I ground it away to allow the shift knob sit lower and reach the tooth on top. I mentioned it to Ben so he'll look into it when they make their next batch. Not a huge demand for them anymore as mostly everything is DCT now.

Took an extended weekend and went up to San Francisco with a bunch of friends then took Highway 1 all the way back down to Los Angeles for the scenic route. Here's a few photos of the car and a couple of locations. I haven't gone through all of my photos yet so it's just a few. I'm pretty sure Big Sur is the most beautiful place I've seen in the country yet.

San Francisco

Monterey

Bixby Bridge on the way into Big Sur

Absolutely gorgeous. I miss the California coast, haha. You never know how much you appreciate something until it's almost inaccessible.

Great pics, Matt!

The shades of grey are much lighter with space grey.
