My customer bought this from a Nissan dealer after it was traded in for a new GT-R. Everything was already added by the previous owner.
He initially just wanted a simple clay and wax job until i got a closer look at the car and convinced him that he needed much more. Since this will be his weekend toy he agreed as he already has a 5 series as a daily. After washing and claying i started with 3M swirl remover step 2 polish, followed by Menzerna 106 AND 85RD. Total time was about 12 hours, he was extremely pleased after he could see the difference in the way the metallic paint sparkled way more after i was done. Thanks...

the only thing he needs to do is the chrome shit around the windows. I had mine painted because I think thats the best route, but many have just simply wrapped their chrome in black vinyl, does the job I suppose.

The right maintanance will determine how often a full detail is needed.
At the least i recommend a wax job every couple of months. The proper procedures while washing will keep new swirls at a minimum.....two bucket method, grid guard in the buckets, air drying with a blower. The least amount of contact with any cloth or towels of any kind in general. Slammed, that's what i meant, the chrome around the windows. I thought there may have been another way than to paint it, but that sounds like the best solution. He definitely wants it done, i will post pics when it's finished. |

looooooks great. Those fools at the dealers don't know what their doing. The first time I got my M detailed was the cleanest and nicest I had ever seen the car! & I got mine w/t 3 miles at a dealer.
-Too many colors going on, on that car. Red and black..but noooo CF chrome black red then red grill. There's no contrast. lol it's all over the place.
