Larger diameter in rear than front? Is that accurate?

Is this fitting a regular M3 with no modifications needed? I mean a normal street driven car.

What is the difference between these and the standard (non-radical) AP racing BBK? Is there a balance of a stock car in place once the rear rotors are bigger than the front?

What kind of brake pads will fit those and are there any problems with availability of the pads in Europe? I did some 10 min internet search and it looks like there are some issues in this regard.

Thanks in advance for response.

Hi there!

Can you please speak to Artyom, the person you redirected me to, as I can't get in touch with him.

To make a long story short:

1) Goodridge stainless steel brake lines were not included in the pack. That is not a big problem, I could live with that as it is not difficult to resolve as those are not difficult to buy separately.

2) Metal adapters are missing. This is THE MAJOR PROBLEM as you can't install the kit on a car without those metal adapters.

The description above said
"The AP Racing Radi-CAL brake kit .... includes a set of ... and accessories to make this a complete bolt-on system". I double checked it with Artyom before buying it from him if the kit had everything neccessary for the bolt on. He confirmed in writing that this is a full set, nothing else is needed for installation.
The reality turned out to be different.

I sent an email to apracing in UK and then had a telephone talk with them and they responded clearly: they do not have these adapters and recommended trying to find those in US retailers, who sell those kits.

I am not going to be involved in resolving this problem finding where in US I can find those adapters and then to be busy delivering those to Europe. Please ask Artyom or any of his people to get in touch with me so that we agree on how we return this brakes back and I get my money back.

Thanks in davance!

Gena (you could ask it in private ? really ? ):

They were purchased from Stillen originally.
I didn't check the shipment to be true , they were here for a year or so , just sitting waiting. So can't judge really , this is not my main business selling stuff.
Artyom is in UK on for holidays and will be in Riga 19.04 .
As far as I know you were given a choice of buy and install with our race team , in our race box here for free , you didn't want that.

Anyway , he will be here tomorrow and should check if any parts were forgotten in the race box. This could probably be happen , just call him tomorrow evening and I will sure ask him to call you anyways.

As for any other spectators , it's great to hear your opinion , but mind your words really , this is not a kinder garden.

Cheers

Private message?
After calling Artyom last week several times with no result, sending messages via viber with no result, sending an email with no result... Is this normal?

To install the brakes as soon as possible was of importance to me. That was the reason why I agreed to purchase the brakes from you/Artyom for the price very similar to the price which I could get those brand new in US from a dealer.
This kit will serve the car for just this season and then I'm selling the car with 95% probability. Thus I just wanted for everything to be installed by the 1st of May as latest as I planned to spend one week during May holidays enjoing the car with improved suspension, wheels and brakes.

My business is also far from "selling stuff", but I never tend to use this as an argument, when I sell anything as a private seller. What's the use referring to it?

We never discussed that I'll go 1000 kilometers with my car or send my driver to install it at Artyom's location. I needed the brakes to be delivered as a FULL set to my location. That was a clear agreement.

Thanks in advance for asking Artyom to get in touch with me as soon as possible!

Cheers

An update for all those interested if the issue was resolved.

The seller sent the missing parts, namely adapters & stainless steel brake lines. The package has been recently delivered and the kit was finally mounted on a car yesterday. Everything seems to work properly with no issues.

The kit does fit in OEM 19 rims and I will report if it is also fitting the ZCP rims within couple of days when those arrive.

Great example as to why we should use the private messaging system as a first measure.

The first measure was used extensively namely numerous calls, email, smses.

I just could not imagine that someone in today's world can leave for a holiday to a civilized part of the world and not be reachable at all at mobile/sms/email for many days, not just one or two. I just didn't see any sence of using one more option, being for sure less productive, trying to reach the seller.

I can assure you that for every person it would look very strange:
- active communication via mobile, text messaging and email at the time when the purchase was discussed
- complete silence from the seller after the seller received money and the problem of missing parts became evident

I am glad that the seller in the end turned out to be an honest person.

Gena : Sometimes you just want to exile from the world , modern world bounds us =]

Although you are correct , that sounds too odd .

Have a good race days.

Hello, I plan to install this same kit on my M3 E92, but the seller had the kit installed on an M2 so the adapter won't fit. My question is, where can I find the adapter for this setup? Thank you for your help. Here is the kit in detail: AP Racing calipers 8521
370mm x 36mm J-hooks discs
Brembo pads
Aviation hoses
Caliper brackets for BMW 4 pistons
