Achtung: Schnell! ///M3 E92 Tracktool Build

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
Ok guys - now itīs time for my M3 E92 to start itīs second life. No - not in a virtual reality cyberspace thing - but as a hardcore Tracktool. Welcome to the documentary online sovial cyber media thread or however youīd like to call it.

You can also follow the build progress on the project website:

But letīs start from the beginning. Many of you mightīve already seen some of my Youtube videos I post here from time to time.

In summer 2011 I switched from a Z4 2.5si (which was awesome fun to drive but lacking at some point some more power) to a white 2010 M3 E92 with almost every option you can think of - even a sunroof - but no DVD (this might be the only "no tick in the box".

2009: Tour through the swiss and italian Alps. Awesome fun.

Here is the bad boy how I found him:

I then installed some H&R springs and immediately went to a race track and destroyed a set of tires in the best possible way I could think of:

I had some great days at Spa-Francorchamps, Hockenheimring and of course the Nürburgring. And I did a moutain tour through the Alps again.

It then was time to install some proper seats:

Oh - did I mention the KW Clubsport which replaced the OEM EDC springs? Well, it was an awesome enhancement for the car. Followed by a square setup with 265/35 R18 Michelin Cups the performance increased significantly.

Time to upload videos to Youtube and create my own channel. Check it out - itīs mind blowing!

Trackday fun:

Spa-Francorchamps, what a great track:

Installed track pipes and reprogrammed the ECU. Now the car produces 450 bhp (instead of OEM 420) and torque got a better punch too. Together with my already modified muffler the car noise was ... like an inferno. Anyone been to a NASCAR race? Thatīs how the noise of my M3 was like... I switched back to a OEM muffler this year because of noise limitations at race tracks...

...and then there was that moment I donīt need again...

Good times at the "Ring"

...my girlfriend likes it too:

By the way: on the Autobahn on my way home I enjoyed the emptiness at night and let the beast do a VMax run.

GPS measured with an external 5Hz bluetooth GPS mouse. So the data is accurate!

304 km/h is about 190mph and that wasnīt the fastest the car could do. Not tooooo bad.

Looking great brother, I have to start next month with the same. This season is going to be so much fun now that I actually have time, out of the Army, and not constantly working or deployed. See you soon buddy
