Finally Ordered the 2009 E90 M3

I wanted to thank everyone for all their help and contribution in helping make my decision on buying the car. I finally ordered at a dealership close by (New Century BMW) for a few hundred more than other dealers that were 45 mins south of here. Here are the specs!

E90 Space Gray M3
Fox Red Novillo Extended Leather
19" Wheels
Everything Else except smartphone integration and Satellite Option

I ordered it last week on the 5/21/09. I immediately got my production number but how long does it take till it gets into production and I have checked both the 1800 and OC.

I hate this kind of anticipation. I want it now! hahaha.

If you are anything like me, it will take 10 years; and you still won't yet have one...

I think the average - at least, it seems this way to me - is about a week or so. Sometimes more, sometimes less.

I just ordered my e90 m3 over a week ago also. I'm extremely happy for you. Everyone may hate the wait period, but let's face it.....It so DAMN exciting!!! When my M3 finally comes in, I will be in SHOCK!

Congratulations. I also ordered a E90 M3 but in April. Yours is going to be a June production at best for delivery in July. Your salesman should already have told you that kind of information.

Mine was ordered in mid-April, was built in May and is currently on its way to my dealership for delivery in late June.

I'm expecting mine to come late in July or early in August. If it comes even earlier, I'll be extremely surprised.

Congrats on the new ordered. My is on the shipment now and will be here on June 22, but my is an AW E92.

I ordered my e90 on 4/15. I was lucky that my dealer already had a production slot in the que. My salesperson modified that car to my specs and it went into production at the end of April. The car has already crossed the sea and is currently waiting for me in SC. I still have to wait until June 24 though since that is when BMW schedule my PCD
