Good luck! I can tell you already know a judgment and a check (one that doesn't bounce) are two different things. Very interesting watching stuff like this play out though.

Pardon my delayed response, just came back from vacation.
I received payment from BMW LLC of North America inc. in the form of a check. Before I actually recoverd payment; I had a brief conversation w/BMWs service manager. In this call the service manger was interested in knowing the out come of my case. He then went on to state that the two prior estimates given for an engine rebuild weren't accurate. They were off by about $5,000. These two prior estimates were between $7,000-$10,000.

In so many words @ that point I informed service manger I was advised to sue the dealer next, I also spoke about a plug w/LA Times & various other media outlets that may be interested in my story.
I'm plotting my next move,I'll keep you all updated.

Just guessing here... but last year of the E90, so more cars sold than 12-13' MY?
