458 Crash
The car looks like a spider and quite new. Didn't take long and must have had all the traction aids turned off.

If I floored it in my F10 M5 in that kind of weather, I'd have the same result in M Dynamic Mode... Not to mention, this guy looked like he didn't know how to merge in the first place... |

Strange looking crash. Those in snowy areas will know that this is what it looks like when people hit the slush between lanes and spin out.

Unfortunately one's wallet size does not always translate into having better driving skills/abilities. Thus is the case from what it seems like in this scenario...Why would you slam it in those conditions? Looks like he had no judgement in that scenario.

Judging from how they were getting on the autostrade, it almost seems as though the car is being driven by a friend or someone who was not familiar with the car.

Money buys you lots of things, cars, hookers, blow, respect and political office.
It does not however buy you any brains! Rain+dirty road+ sports car with sick power = ooooooooohhhhhh ssssshhhhhiiiiittttt!!! This is why I love super bikes! sadly this guy will have more kids. if he was on a nice MV or a Bimota....i would have spare parts and the world would be down one trust fund baby! |

after driving one on the track there is no doubt he had it out of the safest mode. That was massive power induced oversteer leading to a spin. That safest mode would shut it down immediately......which is annoying as hell on the track.
bad driver.

even on sport I could barely get the wheels spinning on the track. Very good traction control

It has nothing to do with having money but no ability or no brain, only clouded judgement. I hate comments like that, they come off as jealous and superior as if that person wouldn't get lairy in that fast, exotic machine if they had a chance to also.
Come on guys, that's what we are, guys: who like to show off now and then, like loud and fast cars and sometimes the big kid in us gets the better of us or the situation. Everyone has made a mistake by being an out of character tool or a show off, we make mistakes and learn from them. The only thing this guy is guilty of is that albeit he had a higher financial price to pay than most of us. I can safely say that any of us would do the same with a cheap a$$ E46 M3 if the child within wanted to hear that engine note and feel some speed. Yes, the weather conditions and having driving aids in the off position should have trigured in one's mind that planting your foot was a bad idea but there are rare occasions when even the most level headed man or woman acts dumb. In the end it's only metal which can be replaced or forgotten, unlike a life so be thankful that this crash wasn't at 150mph and he lives to walk another day. |
