After going back to the website they don't have it anymore. My bad, i swore they had it as i was looking into it as a future mod. I guess there isnt enough demand from ccc customers.

We've got the CCC kits although they don't have the dynamic lines like the CIC kits You can PM me for more info if you'd like.

OP: Glad you were able to get it working, and sorry about the lack of instructions, I informed my staff to make sure that every box has them now!

I'm glad you're happy with the end result, it looks great.

So, are the lines a product of the specific kits or is it peculiar to CCC vs. CIC? I have a backup camera on my '11 but it doesn't have any lines. I'm wondering if that can be activated or not?

There are CIC kits without the dynamic parking lines and obstacle detection. Only the newer generation of hardware supported this. The previous generation with static lines is still available and is slightly less expensive, but much less desirable. The wiring on the newer kits is also better, and some additional hardware is included with the kit.

The picture on the CCC kits looks pretty good but not as good as the CIC.

With permission, I should probably use the OPs pics as the ones on our site are using the older hardware

Ah. Very good. Yeah, mine has the standard object detection (OEM graphic at right with sounds). However, it does not have any lines or grahics in the camera image itself. It does have a great picture though and is a really nice feature on the car. Thanks, OP, for thread and, Mike, for the clarifications

I have been looking for a solution with dynamic lines so will pick this up. Hopefully I can install this without too much trouble.

Question

Does this kit work on CIC-Navigation cars that came WITHOUT PDC?

I have a 2011 335xi that did not come with PDC but it has CIC-Navigation. I don't need the fancy lines just for the camera to work.

Is your website down? It doesnt allow items to be added to the cart. Also what does it mean when you say cars with software older than 2012 need coding? I have a 2011 335xi CIC/no PDC. The maps are updated to 2016 and my coder told me my CIC software is up to date for the year of the car (4/2011).

So does my car need the coding for the kit to work?

I just tested the site and it seems to work fine. Other orders have been placed - I would try a different browser/computer.

No coding is necessary for the camera retrofit. It's all plug and play. We currently have two left in stock.

The trunk opener's door handle (with camera) fits right into the original opening.
Can you post a better picture of the bungee cord + tote set up you have?

I have the BPM Sport reverse camera (CIC with dynamic lines) and it rocks... as did Mike's after hours support!

In terms of the front camera... I fitted a Sony 'eyeball' camera and connected it into the BPM media module... activation for me is simply by pressing and holding the 'next track' button in the steering wheel... super simple!!!

Where does the front camera mount, and what exactly does it provide me a view of?

Also - does the rear camera need any coding after I install on a 2013 with PDC?

My front camera is mounted under the bar above the front mesh and gives me a view of the road ahead and the edge of my front lip.

As for the coding mine was plug and play but I intentionally bought it that way
