BBK - Wheel Fitment Compatibility Database
I thought this may be helpful for those shopping for a BBK and wheels. Let's focus on 18" wheels because 19" wheels should clear most BBK on the market for M3. Also, rear kits other than the ones listed below should work on 18" wheels.
Please respond with your BBK and wheel specs. I will compile everyone's input and update this post as often as I can. Disclaimer: many variables can affect BBK - wheel fitment compatibility. Always check the clearance after installing new components. When in doubt, consult with your supplier and/or manufacturer. Use information below at your own risk. PFC 372/371 BBK fits under the stock 18" 219M wheels (no spacers required)
Also, it easily fits behind HRE R40 18x9.5et23 F and 18x10et25 R, and HRE R43 18x9.5et21 F and 18x10et22 R wheels |

Do you have any pictures of the clearance between the calipers and front 219Ms? Cheers.

No pics. No longer have my stock wheels so I can't take pics either. However, this kit was designed to work with the stock 219M wheels - if you don't believe me contact James at BimmerWorld because his e92 M3 with 219M wheels was used to develop this kit...

That's ok. Do you have a picture or can you point me to the right picture showing the floating mechanism of the discs? I've googled, but there are a number of variations and I don't know which one the M3 kit uses. Thanks.

edit: The previous owner has informed me that the grooves were caused by pebbles getting jammed between the caliper and the barrel NOT the brakes themselves!
I have a set of Advan TCIIIs (18x10.5 +25) that belonged to another member who had 380mm Brembos all around. Three wheels have shallow grooves from the brakes (the bolts on the calipers I guess) rubbing the barrels. Presumably during heavy use when everything has expanded. Not sure what category they belong in considering that.

From what i've seen, my Alcons clear the TC-III's, TE37(SL), HRE R40's, BBS FI's (actually test fitted) and EC-7's. Might be others, but those are off the top of my head. Oh, and the Alcons have 384 front rotors

OEM 18 rears will clear 380mm stoptechs...no spacers. Just have to make sure you put the wheel weights on the inside or the outside of the inner barrel.

The EC-7s in 18x9.5" ET22 and 18x10" ET25 will clear the Brembo 6 piston 380mm BBK and the Stoptech 6 piston 380mm BBK up front on an e9x M3, along with the AP Racing 368mm BBK and Brembo 365mm BBK. These same wheels will also clear the 380mm rear BBKs from Stoptech and Brembo also.
The ARC-8s in 18x9.5" ET22 and 18x10" ET25 will clear the Brembo 6 piston 365mm BBK, but not the 380mm version for the fronts. The 18x10.5" ET27 ARC-8s & EC-7s as well as the 18x11" ET25 EC-7s will work in the rear with a 380mm Brembo or Stoptech BBK. Volk Racing TE37s in 18x9.5" ET22 also clears the Stoptech and Brembo 6 piston 380mm BBK in front of an e9x M3: We will try to get brake templates for the PFC and Alcon kits to test against both the EC-7s and ARC-8s as well, but usually Brembo utilizes the largest calipers in our experience, so wheels that clear the Brembo 380mm BBK should clear the others as well with the same or smaller rotor sizes.

See the link below for thread with similar content in the wheel / tire section. It would be great to merge the threads...

Don't have specs, but from what I've gathered, anything that fits the brembo 380, fits the alcons.
