How can I tell what type of speakers I have?
I need to replace a dead rear speaker and don't know how to tell what I need to replace it with (reg., hifi etc) I don't have the original window sticker, I'm not the original owner and it's not under warranty. Also if anyone knows how to replace them would be helpful. Does the speaker pop out of the panel or does the whole panel need to come off (rear panel of an e92 m3)

If your speakers are "see through" and Orange, you have premium sound. If not, you have the standard sound system.

Yes. Individual/Enhanced Premium audio has yellowish speaker cones. Another indication that this is the system in your car is matte silver/chrome trim surrounding the speakers in the car. Assuming you have enhanced premium audio, the speaker you have shown from ECS is the right kind.

I may or may not be color blind
 But yeah, you have the individual audio.

Replaced the speaker today. Wasn't too complex but look what I found
   Only thing that sucks is the new speaker is a diff shade of yellow it's going to drive me nuts (yes the part numbers match) thanks for the help guys |
