I am happy with the throttle actuators I purchased from M Power Motorsports. On Christmas evening 2020, the dash on my m3 lit up like a Christmas tree and I immediately knew it was my throttle actuators going out. Having been a long-time M3post member I have heard very good things about M Power Motorsports and Abdul.
Abdul took the time to call me during the busy holiday weekend to walk me through the process. Although, I did have some trouble getting delivery updates I completely understood because of the busy holiday season as well as COVID. Throttle actuators came with great packaging. Your throttle actuators WILL go out, DO NOT wait until they do! Save money and have the peace of mind with a lifetime warranty that you will always be covered by Abdul and M Power Motorsports. |

Any updates on the shops work flow? I'm at about a week since ordering TA, with no update, I've also emailed and called with no response ...just looking for some common courtesy and communication.

One week is our standard turnaround time as it is stated on our website. These storms and power outages are not helping either. Did we get in touch yet? Please PM your order number. Thanks. |

Had a very recent experience with Mpowermotorsport and couldn’t be happier with the service received along with the TA’s that so far have thrown no codes (only a few days so far). I was dealing with three other vendors at the same time and Abdul and his team were the most accurate, responsive, communicative and friendly among all four.
I caught a glimpse of a few other early on comments and felt like it wasn’t even the same people/company I just did business with. I’m a fan. |

https://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1766565 Nobody has ever complained about our product. We have had complaints about the shipping time. My goal by the end of the May is to have units on the shelf at all times so we can ship out the next day after we receive an order. Finally, if every happy cusotmer left a review about their experience, this thread would've been hundred and hundreds of pages. Unfortunately, they don't. But that doesn't matter. I go to sleep at night knowing I did my best to help and serve anyone who needs help. All these units are going out today to customers who purchased within the last few days. So the wait time has drastically decreased already. |

Abdul,
Can you please explain exactly in great detail what parts are replaced with new components, what parts are tested and what parts are left original? Thanks. You website says you replace the gears and mosfets and check the regulators. In another thread you said everything except the housing is brand new, which conflicts greatly with your website and posts as every single component would have to be replaced from the entire PCB, gears, shaft, springs, motors etc. Do you do this work yourself or are you receiving boards from rebuild UK and swapping the boards? If we open one of your actuators would I find PCB work indicating that the mosfets and regulators had been replaced? It would be very easy to verify, but I thought I'd ask you first. Regards, TX

Hi there, Without going into too much detail (you can PM if you need more info), we find the fault in the board. We power and operate the PCB. Once the board is repaired, all the main components that are prone to failure are replaced with higher temp rated. Some components are replaced with higher-powered components. The DC motor is overhauled. I may have misspoken when I said the entire unit but for the shell. We don't change the plastic housing or some other small things that never need attention. The spring is one of them. Absolutely, if you open any of our units, you would find those parts replaced. All the parts are tested live for an extended period of time before the units are boxed for shipping. Between Rebuild and M Power Motorsports, we have sold thousands of units to customers in almost every country in the world. If you think the grill on the G80 is bad, the horrible choice of the electrical components in these actuators is far worst. Someone had a brain freeze when they were putting this together. |

BTW, the lead time has gone down to 24-48 hours on these units. I wish every customer that purchased units from us in the past 4 weeks would chime in here to verify this. We are going to maintain a good stock of these units on our shelf at all times now. We changed our strategy a bit and it's working out pretty well at the moment. Knock on wood!

We pressures refunds one a week. If you pay via PayPal checkout, the funds show up in your account immediately. If you pay via cc, it takes 3-5 days depending on your cc. I'm sure you got your refund by now.

Has anyone ordered their rod bolts and installed them without issue?
I was under the impression these were BE/ARP rod bolts but after some digging, I'm starting to feel these are just your standard ARP bolts and from research on here, these ARP bolts do not provide an even clamping force and would/could cause catastrophic failure.. |

That is not the case with any variant of the ARP 2000 rod bolt that I've heard of, there is arguement over the ARP 625 rod bolt, with some claiming it can give an excessively distorted bore (and may have issues with corrosion resistance). Although IMO I think the the bore distortion is more to do with the torque the bolts are tightened up to.
M power use ARP 2000 bolts (of varying variants over time), see more here - https://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1723591 , there's more or less a conclusion on page 3.
