I'd find someone with a windows laptop, that's what a lot of people end up doing.

Boot camp is a utility that comes with Mac OS that allows you to run Windows on your Mac. If you're in the DC area, I'm more than happy to let you borrow my laptop to load your tune as well.

Hi, I just bought an e92 from a guy down in atlanta. It's getting shipped up here this weekend (hopefully sunday because I'll be at MPact on saturday in my M2C.) He said theres an Alpine tune on the car and he's running AA catless so I'm guessing its stage 2? I've had an f80 and currently own a M2C so I know the S55 well but this is new for me.

My question is how can i find out about which tune I have and is there any license information that needs to be transferred?
Please let me know since I'm in open communication with the owner now but not sure how long after the transaction gets completed.

Hey,

Congratulations on the e92!!

As far as what needs to be transferred, I do believe you need to purchase another license.

If you don't, and the previous owner is nice, the PO can get you all the info and maps you need.

Only way to find out what kind of tune you have, is to ask the PO what maps he was running on and see what the map request looked like.

Otherwise, reach out to alpine through Instagram, and let them know about the transfer they may be able to aid you in that transfer process.
