I assume that cutout is for the diff? What additional benefits would this provide over the solid subframe and delrin/solid differential mounts?

Correct. It will further reinforce and tighten the chassis' torsional rigidity. Mimicking what the front reinforcement plate does and what BMW did with the F10 M5 and F12/F13 M6.

Will also have an employed duct for differential cooling. Pick up tabs will be employed as well and will act as a chassis mounted rear diffuser for better aerodynamics at the rear end.

Would this fit on a 335i?

I'd also be interested in the Bimmerworld trailing arm spherical bushings. Can you pm me the price? Thanks!

Very nice! Can't wait to hear/see more, Malek. Your ability to do stuff like this is exactly what I was talking about in that text.

There are a bunch of companies that make c/f drive shafts. If we have enough interest, we could probably find one to make them and get group buy pricing.

Brief overview:

Custom MRF Control Arms setup paired with Bimmerworld Trailing arm spherical bushings and spherical lower control arm bushings. MRF Engineering Sub-Frame Bushings custom designed for suspension geometry correction for lowered vehicle ride height. Delrin & Aluminum Differential bushings from Turner Motorsport. RDsport anti-roll bars. AP Racing Big Brake Kit. All hardware shot-peened and zinc plated for strength and corrosion resistance. Boxed OE BMW trailing arms, finalized with gloss black powder finish.

Track width has been increased 11mm per side, 22mm total track width increase and coupled with 295 wide rubber in the rear for optimal control, feedback and grip. Track width has been mechanically increased by control arm lengths and position, not by simply adding wider wheels.

Sub-frame itself has been reinforced with weld in gussets at its weakest points for strength and rigidity with reinforced 7/16th" threaded slots for MRF Engineering lower stiffening plate.

All rubbing bushings have been eliminated and is full spherical system. The only remaining soft element are the polyurethane anti-roll bar mounts.

Topped with the frame itself powder coated in BMW Motorsport blue.

Vehicle will also employ a 1 piece carbon fiber drive shaft shortly. This is currently being built and not pictured here.

Engine and transmission mounts are Group-N grade.

Is your Veloforza exhaust still in production? If so can you PM me pricing?

Malek,

Which bushings did you use for the boxed lower control arm in the below pic? neither bimmerworld nor powerflex carry anything that goes in there (unless I am not looking hard enough).

Thanks!

Malek,

Will you be offering packages for turn key suspension reinforcements? Been following your builds and your thought process is right up my alley. Would be great to just have a one stop shop for all the parts necessary to take all the slop out of my car.

I am in Florida, but wishing I was in Cali.

Nice work man! You've come such a long way since the days in that little shop off Bake Pkwy in Lake Forest. Good times! Glad to see that your business is successful.
