27. Supervising pharmacist.
Just bought a house, and now am buying my dream car (traded up my sti) in the same year. I agree with some people confused at how early 20's can afford this car without parents paying for it. I saved almost 90% of my earnings through my early-mid 20's to afford this stuff. On a lighter note, Just checked my prod #, it says production finished. From what I've seen on the board here this means maybe another 3-4 weeks before I get my beast right?? |

Even if someone is making low 6 figures right out of college, the cost of living in California is so high I'm not sure if an M3 is really "responsible" or easily affordable. Last edited by W Cole; 12-13-2012 at 09:00 PM.. |

Thanks - you too! The car was my outlet - hard drives after 10 hour Saturday study sessions cleared my mind to do it all over again on Sunday.
I know a few M3 driving charter holders - makes sense as both the car and the charter are well respected, offer great value for cost and serve as the gold standard of their respective categories.... |

I'm 24 now, bought my car at 22.5
This is my 3rd bimmer, I've owned a 525i and 740il before my m3. The m3 is by far my favorite. I am an X-ray and MRI tech in the Silicon Valley. Bought my car used with less than 10k miles fully loaded for 52k Silverstone metallic with extended fox red interior Btw mommy and daddy didn't buy it for me, I make my own money |

Okay so I probably shouldn't be posting here because I'm part of the lesser, 328i grandma-slow guys. But on the poll, why does it start at 18? I have a friend who is 16 and has an M3. Just saying there may be one or two 16 or 17 year old guys on here. I thought I was extremely spoiled being 18 years old with a high mileage 328i lol. Did pay for a 1/4 of it though to be fair.
