The thing is, the spacer is for the wheel rim - strut body fitment. The tire is not rubbing anywhere, so it could be a wider one without issues

I received the 3mm spacers today and tried to make it fit like that. It worked perfectly, so only a 3mm is needed up front

Wow, that's surprising - I guess the 10.5 isn't perfectly compatible with your chosen offset.

It's the typical ET27 10.5 inch wheel. It just has a bit more of a lip than the Apex ARC8 wheel

Offering replacement at a reduced price that still covers BW's costs and helps a user is a good-will gesture that builds loyalty. I certainly keep going back over and over to vendors that I feel have my back.
Thanks for the input - and support! We really don't have the margin to do a free replacement deal, which is really a bit of a marketing policy. We make race parts and I am very comfortable with their use and performance in that environment. I can destroy anything metal given enough time with my brand of "standard track use" also, from wheels to car shells, and when I use my equipment hard, I know I will eventually pay to fix or replace it which seems fair. The goal was to get forged wheels into the market at a more attainable price and I can't build in replacement costs for the guys that use them harder or accidentally hit something and still sell them for $500, which also seems fair to everyone, especially those that don't beat on their stuff as hard.

I'm running the PFC Z54 BBK. It's possible the hat is thinner than OEM.
PFC (and I think most standard brake kits) would all retain stock measurement there. Wheel width is measured on the inside of the wheel where the tire seats, so a 10.5" wide BimmerWorld TA16 wheel (and most wheels) would measure 11.5" outside lip to outside lip - I checked and they are 11.50", so the inside of the lip should be in the "correct" location for the given wheel offset. By far the most typical non-wreck wheel track damage we see is ovaling of the barrel more toward the inner side where there is less structure, resulting in cracks on this inside lip in the most extreme cases, which for racers can mean losing air, a tire, and a race. By the measurements, the TA16 wheel doesn't have "extra" lip width, but we definitely didn't leave any off in this area either.

This made me laugh...

Harry Hogge: All right. While we're still under a caution, I want you to go back out on that track and hit the pace car.
Cole Trickle: Hit the pace car?
Harry Hogge: Hit the pace car.
Cole Trickle: What for?
Harry Hogge: Because you've hit every other goddamned thing out there, I want you to be perfect.

Sorry - I was making a funny. Groups or singles, the price is all the same. Again - the marketing tool we are using here isn't group buys or cheap replacements - its a FORGED wheel for $500!

I'm interested if a group buy materializes. Would also be nice if regular silver would be offered in the future.

Nice wheel.
