Hi Folks, connected with my SA, apparently they didn't "silicone the door seals" as it said on the invoice but actually used Wurth Sabesto Rubber Care on the door seals.

It's been 2 weeks and they are still silent but I am sure I will need to re-apply again.
Regardless, it's nice to be squeak/creak free.

This stuff I guess,

http://www.autogeek.net/wurth-rubber-care.html

It's the same stuff I think as the Einszett stick. Need to get me one too, much easier to use than the spray can.

Anyhow, I'm thinking some sh*t they used during the detailing job filtrated into the door edges, and onto the rubber door seals/weather strippings, dried up, and started causing the squeaking. If that was the case, the dealer telling me that lubing the door seals fixed the issue makes sense to me.
I had the same problem on my 2011 M3 and just got it back from the dealership after they lubed up the seals; the noise has now been SIGNIFICANTLY reduced. Hopefully I don't have to go back

UPDATE WITH GUMMI Pflege

UPDATE

I just got done applying the Gummi Pflege Stift on my E90. It took about 30 minutes to cover all four door frames, the four openings on the body of the car, trunk and inside the engine bay (one long weather strip below the wipers). I think I used about 1/4 of the 3.4 oz bottle. So I should be good for another 3 applications. I purchased it from Amazon for only $8.

The solution itself is a liquid and comes out as a liquid. As you can see, there is a sponge top applicator. So no need to transfer the solution to a micro fiber towel and it's not a messy spray. The sponge was initially WHITE. After I got done, well, you can see my weather strips were pretty dirty and turned the sponge GRAY. The solution has a pleasant citrus smell to it.

I need to let the solution dry and I'll report back tomorrow with my impressions. Even though I had the dealer install 3M tape on my door frame, I still had a slight rattling noise (not squeaky). I hope the Gummi Pflege fixes the problem.

I just ordered some Gummi Pflege Stift for my E90 which just started creaking really bad on the driver door. Im hoping this will fix it. I tried using some other lexol vinyl cleaner but that didn't help any

Don't need that gummi stuff, WD-40 or liquid wrench, hell even Pledge works.

Rub the metal/steel part of the interior door frame on the car, as well as the rubber insulator that "cushions" between the door and metal/steel door frame. Wipe it down with said lubricant of choice and a micro fiber towel.

Voila! Creaking gone!

Well considering that WD40 is really greasy stuff and the Gummi Plege is not and only costs $8 from Amazon, I'd stick with Gummi Pflege

Sounds like the door hinge needs some lube applied to both hinges.

E90 extended leather

I have the same squeaking issues as well. Mine is an 08 with 29k. Started about 8 months ago. Dealer says the window seals just need to be cleaned. They did that and it almost stopped for a day or two. Would like to find a solution.

For the squeaky noises, the solution is to get the 3M tape installed and then apply the Gummi Pflege. I have zero squeaks since installation of both. But, I've developed several rattling sounds (not squeeks) coming from my navigation screen or by the iDrive knob...hard to tell.

I applied poorboys rubber and vinyl protectant and it worked like a charm. I also use it for the top of the dash. Smells great and no greasy look to it.

It's not, it's the mirror. My 2011 has done it since I got the car

From the sound of it, the E90's have more creaks and groans then the E92's.
I'm surprised since the E92's don't have the frame around the door window.

Regardless, it's nice to be squeak/creak free.

Update: One Month and the creaks in the door seals are returning. Need to re-apply the Wurth Sabesto Rubber Care.

Update: One month, and I still have zero creaks/squeals from the door. However, my driver-side mirror is making lots of creaking / squeaking sounds.

I've had to reapply the Gummi Pflege Stift once since I first applied it... Thinking I didn't put enough on the first time. But its working well now. Also noticed my driver mirror is squeaking now.. not sure how to fix that one. But at least I cant hear it while driving only when opening and closing the door.

Thank you so much for posting the pics of what solved your issue. Does the Clear 3M Tape have a BMW part number or can you provide more information on where one might be able to source the tape? I could take it back to the dealership, but this looks like something i will be able to do myself.
I believe this is the 3M tape that would do the trick:
3M Squeak Reduction Tape 5430
http://solutions.3m.com/wps/portal/3...beW8LNFLFN3Xgl

I have been looking to buy this but I don't think 3M sells it in my part of the world. Maybe you would do better locating this in the US or Europe. Good luck.
Looks like it's back to the mechanic for me,...
