when it comes to replacing the rotor, do I have other options or do I need to get the exact same rotor from Stoptech?
need a part number for just the rotors

also looking for replacement street pad recommendations
pretty sure i have the stoptech street pads now
you'll want to get a stoptech rotor and hardware kit. i doubt someone makes a replacement rotor for someone else's aftermarket kit anyways.

i use ferodo ds2500 pads for the street. its supposed to be a hybrid pad, so if i get into a pinch at the track, they make good backups.

There are companies that make high quality rotor rings to spec, sometimes much cheaper.

Heads up to all — have been trying to get some Stoptech spare parts recently, just the jet nuts that attach the caliper to the caliper mount, and can't seem to find any in stock. Was told by one of the suppliers that they haven't received fresh Stoptech spares for ~6 months besides some very limited items. Believe they were acquired and had some glitches converting inventory/sales systems. Anyway, something to look out for, if you find what you are wanting in stock somewhere I would grab it.

I would check in with David Zeckhausen -- he knows Stoptech spare parts extremely well and likely has spares on hand -- LINK.

Girodisc may also sell their own version and I believe Porterfield makes custom rotor replacements.

These must be brand new, I checked Girodisc a few months back and they only had 380x32

Yup. I emailed Girodisc at beginning of this summer asking about 380x35 rotors and they said it'll be available before end of summer.

Haha I had that same convo with Zeckhausen about Stoptech's issues after the acquisition, didn't realize they were owned by Centric (pre-acquisition).

Sounds like it'll be a while until spare parts are easily available, I ordered knockback springs 2 months ago and still haven't received them.

From the GiroDisc link:
"The disc is made from our own proprietary cast iron, poured in the USA and machined from start to finish in house at Girodisc. The rotor utilizes 48 curved vanes, developed in racing to act as a centrifugal pump to force cooling air through the disc."

Feel like these must be higher quality than the Stoptech replacements.

I overpaid quite a bit last year to get the only ST60 rotor rings and hats StopTech had in some warehouse and it still took nearly two months. The rotor and hat mounting hardware was pretty poor quality with the threads having some metallic goop in it that I had to carve out.

Girodisc looks like a nice alternative. I think they make the hardware as well?

Even though I've already ordered a pair of sparco QRT-R, I think I may need something with more leg/lateral support..

What large seats are out there (non halo) that offer this? I've sat in the sabelt Titan, and I think that may be contender.

The Race Seat Fitment Thread https://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1398040

The Race Tech 4100 W&T fit me like a glove. Can try mine out when they get installed in a couple weeks. I'm 6'0, 200lbs.

My stoptech hardware had the same issues. The bolts were very low quality.
