Vortech blower breather leak solution….?

The oil coming out the breather on the track yesterday contaminated my brakes.. I jacked the car up this morning and it's everywhere.. checked the level before I went to the track so it wasn't an overfill issue. I recall reading about this issue before but searched and couldn't come up with much. I'm guessing a catch can is in order. Anyone care to share their solutions? Thanks.

Try a new breather valve first?

How do you have the breather set up? Vent to atmosphere or dumping back into the intake?

I would drain the fluid and refill, check the dipstick and make sure you aren’t overfilling. But its odd that if it is in fact pushing out the vent, how is it traveling to the wheel well, past the fender liner?

Hey Cam, thanks for your reply. It only happens on the track with lots of high speed cornering. Gravity and sloshing it about forces it out the vent and it drips down and gets sucked into the wheel area I would imagine vaporized. Yesterday the sponge did the trick by catching the majority of it and I didn't experience any brake contamination. Good idea to empty it and refill. According to the dipstick it isn't overfilled (at-least now it isn't) but now I've got some time I'll come up with a "catch can" retrofit for the breather kind of like the diy for the power steering reservoir catch can.
