OK, three spaces is bad but never park in front of a fire hydrant!

Couldn't they use the side ports on the hydrant?
Don't get me wrong, I'm all for messing up that car. Just curious. Crap like this makes BMW owners look like douche bags.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

“You can’t really bend a charged 4-inch feed line. Straight and a slight bend is about as good as you can do. And they will never park in front of a hydrant again. Water is everything at a fire and you need it ASAP.” That said, if you've ever spent much time in Boston, you can understand the impulse to park in front of a hydrant. Just saying.

Reminds me of a scene from one of the episodes of Rescue Me. They did the exact same thing, smashed both windows and ran the hose right through, flooding the interior in the process

Looks like the side connections are a lot smaller. I assume they needed more flow than the side connections would allow.

This sh!t hole was out of luck... Insurance won't pay for fixing that dented panel and broken widows when they found out it was violate city parking and oh he/she got a parking citation for this as well.
