Fun day with Speed District yesterday. My first time at Buttonwillow, great fun finding the rhythm and learning the track. I'm sure I left some time out there but I'm pretty satisfied with getting into the 54's on my first time there and street tires. I'll try to get a video uploaded a bit later.

Very nice time. Saw the pic of the white E92 number 94 and did a double take since redpriest runs that same car/color/number combo!

Pretty crowded day with NCRC, didn't get an unimpeded lap until the 4th session when it was 92 degrees... And I overslowed for T8 compared to every other lap of the session so I left a little time out there. I'd like to go back and run the bypass. Fun track! I liked the blind entry into T9 that really rewarded committing early.

Finally started this highly addictive hobby of tracking a month ago at the Ridge Motorsports Park (after almost four years of ownership somehow). My best lap so far is a 1:57.43 on 6/5. Was working towards 1:56's before my coolant temp sensor shut me down. Enjoying the quick progression in these early day.

Trans: 6MT
Brakes: F&R: OEM calipers and rotors, PFC08 pads
Tires: 275/35/18 Hankook RS-4 on 18x9.5 219m
Suspension: KW Clubsport
Other performance mods: test pipes and otc tune, Macht Schnell intake, solid subframe mounts, Powerflex purple diff bushings

I'm already getting sucked down the hole. I ordered Schroth QFP's since ecstuning is selling them for the price of regular QF (seems like a pricing error), looking for a deal on a hans, am contemplating stickier tires after these wear out, and planning the half cage and halo seats over the winter...oh and and a wing and splitter look nice too

Thanks man! Same for me. Held out for far too long, but it was probably for the best financially. Totally f'd now though.

Track: Laguna Seca
Best Lap Time: 1:40.209 (transponder)

Car: 2011 E92 M3 DCT
Suspension: KW Clubsports, Eibach FSB
Brakes: StopTech ST-40 Fronts, EAS Rear Rotors, PFC-08 Pads Front/Rear
Mods: Challenge Sport Xpipe w/ HFCs, OEM Exhaust, AA Pulley, MS Intake, BPM Tune, Racetech Race Seats, GT4 Front Lip, Zebulon Rear Wing
Tires: 285/30/18 Bridgestone RE71Rs on ARC8 18x10.5 Front/Rear
Weight: 3545 lbs w/ driver

Burning up the last of my RE71R's, and they got slower and slower all day. No grip at all out of 2 and 11, but being my first day at Laguna Seca I'm pretty happy overall... Was hoping to dip into the 39's but I got 1s/session slower as the tires ran out of magic. Still had a blast and got a ton of track time with some amazing weather. No issues with sound with the Challenge X-pipe and OEM muffler. Got flagged once but watching the video I was passing another loud car and they tagged me for the noise... No other issues the rest of the event and I was not lifting or short-shifting.

They built the rear wing on the car. They do complete aero packages and match them to the power/series/goals of the car and driver. Really nice and high quality work.

1:55's looking possible on these RS4's! I already feel like the quick fit pros with stock seats are inadequate after the first day with them, even though they are sooo much better than 3pts. My lower back was killing me during every session.

I haven't been to the Ridge in 2-3 years so I'm a little out of touch with times. 1:55 seems fast for rs4s.

I saw an E46 with an S62 that looked just like yours at the ridge about a month ago!

The tires don't feel extremely grippy, but they aren't soo bad. I have 6 days on them so I certainly can't complain about durability yet. I'm very curious about stickier tires now though. Any recs for the next tire? NT01. Scrubs? I'll probably want some wider wheels too since I'm running square 219m's currently.

NT01 is a good step up from RS4. They don't get as greasy, take more of a beating, and didn't heat cycle out like RS4 did.
