Anybody in Mississauga that can do this in two hours? If so, pm me. I don't need it right now, but it'd be good to have your info in my inbox.

yea, I usually do most work myself, but my wife is getting tired of me spending hours in the garage when it starts off as "it'll only be an hour..." haha so if my TA were to go, I wouldn't mind having someone in Mississauga to just do it for me.

What Torque spec do you guys use to bolt the new TA bodies down to the engine?

I used 7 NM, hope that's ok.. thats about what it took to get them off in the first place..

BMW wizards in North York had done both of mine for $1600. I think they charge $1800 now.

No. You won't be stranded but you'll have to get it fixed.

My car went into limp mode yesterday and my mind went straight to TBAs. Rocco was able to fit me in this morning and he hooked the car up as soon as I arrived. Turns out, I had 2 bad exhaust gaskets causing misfires and increased emissions.

I know that replacing TBAs will be in my future. My car is 10 years old and has 133K km on the clock. Just glad it's not today.

Curious, is the DIY process a lot harder/different if the car has a supercharger?
