Haven't you gotten the car tuned? The fuel smell is extra fuel that the DME throws in to cool the cats down. Eliminate the cats, tune out the CCOT (catalytic converter over temp in most tuning courses), smell is drastically reduced or gone. |

Installed mine last weekend. And after driving it a few times all I can say is it is perfection for what I was looking for. Same aggressive sound I had with the MS race but at a more tolerable “grownup” volume level. I will try and pull some video/audio over the next few days for your consideration.

From my perspective, the Sport X pipe is a phenomenal piece and it exceeded my expectations: "nice" gains (352.9 hp : 272.9 tq); very faint smell; superb craftsmanship; ~ 15lbs weight savings; no vibration at idle. As mentioned, it's paired with a MPE and sounds awesome; just a bit raspy over 5K, but not terrible. It's a DCT car and the downshifts are wicked AF! Dyno chart: |

If so, an exterior with a few different drive by say varying rpms. Personally I wouldn't bother with mics connected to the rear because no one experienced that perspective in reality. |

Wanted to thank the community for supporting a great product! The SPORT X-pipe is selling amazing and we only have one left. I'll be starting on a new batch now.
We also just completed the install PDF guide.

If I have test pipes and Stage I tuning now do I need to change my tuning? Or I can use my current tune with these sport pipes?

Alright so I got mine installed and it sounds absolutely AMAZING! Craftsmanship was excellent as well, I ran into one issue with one of the o2 bungs being slightly off center from the hole in the pipe (i'm talking like 1mm). But it just prevented me from hand threading up snug like the other 3 since the sensor just BARELY grazed the cut out. Not really a huge deal since it went in straight, but I relayed this to IND so I'm sure RKP will be aware in the next run.
That said, I didn't thoroughly watch all the tips and tricks on x pipe installs and got some heat shield rattle, at least I'm 99% sure thats what it is, haven't got back under to look. Only happens once fully warmed up and under 3k rpms with heavy throttle, so like talking off or gassing it a tad without downshifting. I need to check my clearances but anyone have any tips of what areas I should check? I know its common to hammer up the heat shield where primaries used to be and near o2 sensors, but wanted to know if there was anywhere else I should check?
