went to a certified scale today and wasnt as good of news as i had hoped. raining out and had a non-cycled new set of maxxis rc1s on. was not fun loading on the trailer car tried to step off sideways. put a some traction tape on the ramps as well as put one hoosier wet on the rear and was fine. As for the number it was dead on 3000 lbs with just under half tank. So between 2950-2960 with no gas. about 50 lbs more than i had hoped.

Congrats! I know it was not what you were hoping for, but still a very good weight! I'm now inspired to lose around 400 lbs during my off time. I may hit you up for some advise. Cheers!

So 2950ish with a cage? I think I'm right at 3k with no cage.

Do you have the BW race exhaust?

Yes back half cage only. BW race, braille battery, sound deadening scraped, cf sunroof blank, wiring thinned, no airbags, control modules, stereo equipment. Hard to get as low as I want.

Windows for lexan? Did you lose the front door panels?

I'm curious to find out what it takes to lose the charcoal canister in the rear.

Yes door panels are out. Gutting them or going to cf doors is worth bunch of weight and money. No lexan windows.

Ran pacific raceways yesterday on the new maxxis rc1. Right now not too impressed but could be operator error as I'm kind of rusty. My lap times fell between what a new nt01 and a almost corded fast nt01 can do.So they are faster out of the gate than an nt01 but not quicker than them at their best which is a disappointment. I was hoping for a quicker tire than nt01s with similar wear. They do look like they will wear fairly long so may be a viable option if they maintain same pace throughout their lifespan.

Fast group yesterday that included 4 ferrari challenge cars, 2 gt3 cup cars, new z06 and a laferrari which I had never seen but he was taking it very easy.

think my video works now. nothing special but the laferrari was pretty spectacular to look at. all the active aero is pretty sick.

I was able to finally get my car on scales. 2833 with 1/2 tank of gas and without me. Right at 3010 with me in it. I have a 9 lb braille that I still need to install.

Wow that's really good. I'm jealous. Almost 200 lbs lighter!

update. picked up a used ezcarlift yesterday from a fellow member, thanks wootwoot at a great price. I couldnt pass it up as this will make my life much easier. im on jack stands a lot and every time after i get home from the track i pull all 4 wheels to clean them and access where to rotate the tires based on wear. also check brakes and do inspection.

ezcarlift is a mechanical lift that is rated to 4400 pounds and looked at them before as an option but price was too steep i thought at retail. have to go out today and get a different corded drill as they require on with 8 amp rating and my old craftsman wont cut it. probably pick up a millwaukee to match my impact.

heres a few shots of the lift at almost full height. the bumper is about waist high giving lots of room underneath to do bigger projects. lift time is pretty slow but will mostly use it only couple inches off the ground for wheel and brake stuff.

Not a very fun track day today. Spent the last week cleaning up the car after winter projects on it and it promptly sprung a oil leak. The oil return line at the bottom of the pan cracked and ended my day. Luckily caught early and no damage just came home drained the oil and replaced the line.
