"edition" makeover complete!
So finally put on my last parts today of the edition makeover as I call it. Started with the black/chrome OEM grilles and exhaust tips which both look killer! Today I added the side-gills in black-chrome and the hood vents with gloss black. (hood vents in black are technically not "edition" but instead gts" but suits it well.
Black on silverstone looks amazing. Also space grey and any shade of blue I think look really good. Not a fan on a black car or white car personally. Probably the best spent money for a great look to your car. Got a matching gloss black liscence plate with black screw covers to complete the look on the back. Thank god no front plates here to worry about. If you are on the fence about a few mods to do and give your car a nice touch, its absolutely beautiful! Now I have ZERO chrome on my car at all!! YAY |

Dude I finished it when the sun was down already and wanted nice clear sunlight pics. Took them today. Should have waited to start the thread but I was excited. Pics taken and when I get home I can upload and post!
I ended up not liking the black hood vents as much as the regular style so those will be up for sale. Otherwise the combo looks absolutely fantastic! Pics this evening! |

That is mature.
... As promised-pics! Unfortunately they really do not do justice to the mods. The shiny black almost reflects and looks chrome in some pics but it is truly all black. Only thing I am debating now is whether to paint my exhaust canister black or not. I actually am one of the few who likes the look of the OEM muffler as it looks unique and german instead of those cheap small canisters so many use. Only other one I like is eisenmann. However cannot decide-any thoughts? |

couple more.
Man photography is definetly an art. Cannot believe how much crappier the car looks on photos. I just waxed this and in person it is absolutely gleaming in the sun and perfect. These photos do not show it off very well! |

Nope, they are are just polished and shiny but they are the OEM ones that are definetly not chrome. In person they actually have an ever so slightly gunmetal colorish. Darker than the standard aluminum bmw wheels or the color of the comp. wheels.
I was debating for a long time and still think sometimes about getting the gts black wheels but in person these wheels look so great with silverstone and the black trim pieces. Maybe some day down the line! And I did realize there is chrome on the badge still! damn! But I do not like hte blacked out badges at all and love the chrome m3 badge-Only chrome I like |

Was just thinkin the same thing. I am waiting for the ACM muffler and when it arrives I wll likely paint it before putting it on and switch my tips over. I think it would look better.

So let me understand this. You black out the sparkly stuff and get 4 brown sphincters in the back but you think that amber LCI blinkers are for dopes?
