On my m4 i need to find a way to mute the whole exhaust and only have screeching intake noise with vent to atmosphere bov jdm duck noise hks style LOL.

For me, the S65 has a rewarding sound from start-up and it just gets better from there. I only like the S54 when it's receiving a good flogging. I really dig the unique signature rasp at that point...not as much as the S65's growl at WOT though.

the s54 at higher rpm did have an exotic sound...lower rpms it just had that extreme sound you expect from an inline or v6.....

I don't like how the S54 sounds outside of the car. Haven't heard a car that I thought sounds good so I just went with lots of noise using the BW race exhaust. I didn't really care.

My E90 M3 on the other hand is awesome! OEM is almost perfect...just needs some more intake and exhaust volume. It just sounds fantastic in and out of the car!

i ran the platte forme race exhaust toan had....pretty much terrorized everyone i was around....i gave up on sound and decided volume was better
