Rear Trailing Arm - ECS vs OEM
Hi all
What is the consensus on rear trailing arms? Is it worth upgrading to the sturdier ECS variants, or is it worth keeping the weaker OEM unit in place, thus keeping the sacrificial component in place? I am in the process of doing a rear subframe rebuild and I'm unsure which direction to take Cheers Phil |

Fall-line doesn't make that arm as far as I know. Plus I have not had the best experience with the couple of Fall Line parts I have had. I switched over to SPL. I have been trying to convince SPL to make that particular arm but no luck so far. I believe that ECS has the only product available.

In all fairness I have not been happy with the Ti bolts on the locking clamps from SPL. However the locking design is superior and I'm replacing with Stainless hardware to correct. SPL offers more arms and excellent customer service.

I have the full SPL package front and rear. I had Fall line LCA monoball, sway bar end links, and rear toe link. Toe link is all I have remaining and it's getting replaced with SPL this week. All the SPL hardware is getting converted to stainless.

I second everything Slicer said. I too have the full SPL arms/links etc. No problems or issues either. One of my titanium bolts did strip, so I'll have to replace. That said, I do have my Fall Line Race Toe Link Kit I need to sell.

M24 makes this part. But looks like only for a full coil over conversion and I'm betting it's spendy.
I don't know whom does it but I saw someone boxing the OEM stamped arm. |

Yeah that's it. I think that would be fine for me. The dimple die is a nice touch.
