Older Toyota 4Runners (not sure about the newer ones) have the back glass that actually goes up and down so you can shoot rolling shots with a tripod from back in the trunk if you want to.

my buddies wedding.

any opinions? theres a slight big more exposure and vignetting applied to the second image. But i think the vignetting was almost cancelled out by me adding more exposure.

Thanks.

As opposed to increasing the exposure, increasing the fill light and vignette might look good.

yes, positive exposure.

I was playing with vignetting a bit, i added a tiny bit to draw attention away from the bricks in the top right, and i think it worked, but I did a tester with a little more vignetting, i wasn't as happy, i'll add it again and see if i can come up with a more pleasing one with more exposure and vignetting.

I would nick the saturation/vibrance up a couple of points and try to get the temperature so that the fence and dress are white. If you can blur the rooftop in the background and get a little more on the bottom of the picture by re-cropping.
They will be happy with that.

Unfortunatly there's no cropping done on the picture, i usually try to get all my pictures framed on camera, which has been having a tendancy to bite me back in post processing lately.

I was thinking about bringing up some saturation to get the colours in the flowers to pop more.

I'll see what i can come up with. Sadly i'm not familiar with adding blur, so that might be a trick for another day Needs more practice.

haha, she is pastey... I've had that problem with a few of the pictures, she seemed to have used a very light coloured pouder on her face and sometimes she looks black and white.

especially beside him because he's half Multese.

Gaussian blur??? All I would do is find a brush and start painting. Starting off with opacity lower.
I know nothing of PS BTW.
On the photo forums, you just post the pic and everyone can edit it to their hearts desire.

I think i found something

just sampling around with the brush on Lightroom and i can turn her face black and make the background a little less sharp. so giving that a go, and maybe i can get some colour in her cheeks and make her look a little less Canadian.

Work on the "HSL" for the reds/oranges to bring her skin out, kill some blue.

Just dupe the image and flip the lower layer horizontally. Then put a layer mask on the upper layer and paint out the bricks.

For her skin bring up a new layer and change the blend mode to Soft Light. Then paint carefully with black over just her skin. Then adjust the opacity of that layer to suit.

Photoshop skills are handy, but you need a great image such as this to start with. This is a very nice wedding photo. Better than many I've seen by folks who got paid a ton to take them.

Thanks

I'm working hard at learning my way around, I think post processing is my weakest point at this time. I've been sampling a lot with Lightroom recently and am liking how it's going, but i really need to spend some serious time on photoshop with some tutorials or something to get the most out of pictures.

It's a good friend of mine who got married and i told him I would hand him all my shots no charge other then to tell people about me

I just paid attention to what the hired photographer did and got some ideas for the future from watching him, and also started to wonder his rational behind some of the decisions he made.

He for some reason put all the family portrait stuff with everyones backs to the sun, which i think would have worked if he were on a ladder, but as he was on the ground, he had to have blown out the sky in every picture.

I moved around a lot while he was doing that to avoid getting the sky in the background, but i found it almost impossible. So my buddy is going to make an extra disc of his shots for me to look at.
