Also all the components including connectors, wires, and etc need to be able to handle high current and high temperature for this kind of application. |

All I thought of when I saw this picture is:
"This sticker is dangerous and inconvenient but I do love Fig Newtons." Those are sweet though :P

another reason why I chose lux's over aib's...the overheating issue seems to be a constant complaint/problem with aib's....

No electrical product is 100% and we have been very forthcoming in attending to any product or warranty concerns.

As I said, 3 year warranty is nice. But how many times do you want me to put in a product in a $65k car that burns? I'm getting my brand new car today... Like I've said in all posts, the AiB really does look good. But I'd have to be a little retarded to try a third time with the same product.

the closer the Kevlin value of the bulbs to daylight 5500ish, the less visible they should look given they are in reflective housings that are being lit up by daylight.
bulbs with a higher Kelvin will appear more blue and are therefore likely to be more noticeable. you have to be a little careful about looking at pictures of these things. cameras have metering systems that balance brightness and colour. I'm a photographer and getting 'accurate' colour and 'brightness' takes a lot of work. not to mention everyones' computer and software interpret images slightly differently. oh, and of course I could photoshop the proverbial out them easily too - I make fat people thinner, change facial expressions etc, bright lights would be easy the photos with one headlight converted are the best bet IMHO, better still go take a look at them in someone's car. |

have to say after reading/posting on this thread i've been noticing the newer running lights on the BMW and audi's. I'd go as far as saying the new ones are a bit too bright........

the new angel eyes on the e92 are pretty damn bright. if they were toned down just a tiny bit that would be better. im not a fan of extreme bleeding in the lights and sometimes they seem to. i like the f10/f30 ae's though they look perfect

I bought Lux. One of the best low hanging fruit mods out there.

Also, when off, OSS's look very yellow because of the LED circuit's which are yellow. I love the look when on, and think it looks the best. But when off, they also look the worst. Another problem is that some of the OSS's have a big spot missing from the "eye" at the very top. that also makes it look bad. - KJ |
