Splitters/Lip on Jet Black e93 M3?

Black is arguably the hardest color car to mod, some things just dont show on it like they would on a white or grey car sadly...and carbon fiber is also hard to notice on a black car.

I'm currently looking for a nice lip or splitters or both...anyone have any recommendations on an e93 jet black? Post some pictures please.

I was leaning towards this in gloss black

or just the splitters

But again. dont know how it would look on a murdered out car with some red accents.

i'd do the full lip... depending on the amount of red on your car, why not a red lip?
not sure how it would look, but thats an idea

Heres my car now...I'm going to put red hood vents and red side vents and thats about it for the red.

Red lip might be too much red. But some red accent on the lip doesnt sound too bad. Just has to be the right design.

Are those RPI scoops? If so, do you like them and would you recommend them? I have a jet black M3 and was considering them for some red accent.

In regards to the thread, I'm having a hard time too finding a good looking front lip for a jet black m3. I'll keep looking and post here if I find one.

Yea bro they are RPI scoops they are sick, but I didnt get them for performance gains and I dont feel any either, just for aesthetic purposes only. The tapes did not stick at all though, I don't know why so I had to attach them another way.

Not bad raptor, but a little too subtle.

Challenge lip looks pretty cool. A little too expensive though...for something that is going to take such a beating they sure do expect us to shell out so much. Hope there are some reps around...

How about JL-Motoring's GTS-style front lip? It's not 100% accurate to the original, so I guess it's more a style than a direct replica, but looks pretty darn good for what it is.

I hope Sean05 doesn't mind me borrowing his photo.

Thats actually exactly what I was looking at.

Is it only available in carbon fiber? I dont really want CF I have nothing else carbon fiber on the car except the interior trim lol...and how about a pic of it on a black m3?

If only it was available with a CRT finish like this IND spoiler

http://parts.ind-distribution.com/pr...DCRT%5E709.php

^Am definitely picking that up with a hint of red on it

If i can get it like that then i will get it for sure

one thing i love about black is that it can make paint matched parts look molded, such as edu09's M.

its jerez, but doesnt look too different from jet black in these pics. vorsteiner lip looks great in black on the black vert.

hope he doesnt mind the use of his pictures

I love how the M6 rims look on you old M3. I like the look of your white m3 too but since mine is black it's cool to see it modded.

Try calling James at JL-Motoring at 360-305-4427 (or so I believe his number is?). I've met him twice in person (his shop is in SoCal) and he's a cool guy, easy to work with. I'm sure he can set you up with a matte version of the lip: he helped me get set up with a matte version of a 3D Designs style lip (though that was 3 years ago). If you're in SoCal, I'm sure LTBMW can paint it for a reasonable price as well.

Thats a very good idea bro thank you. Do you think it would be too much if I get the lip and spoiler in CRT finish? Considering Im getting the side vents and hood vents in red. Might just be too much red but I dont know might look nice as well
