Thumbs down Alex@Alpine - Customer Service

Well after sending a couple of PMs and no response even though he has been on the forum since both of them were sent, thought I would throw a little thread out there. Got his kit on, which I enjoy. Only downside is that his bulbs are each different colored so it looks like one 4300-5000k bulb on one side and one 6000-8000k bulb on the other side. Had the kit installed for two weeks total at the time. I was hoping that he would just answer my PM and hopefully just replace the bulbs but seeing that I have sent two and neither have been responded to while he has been logged in on the forums, I felt I might as well put something here.

Sorry to hear - one of my biggest pet peeves is poor/non response.

Hope you get this resolved.

Should of posted here though:

I'd post them if there were any. It was too embarrassing to have them on the car so I got a new set of bulbs from another vendor.

I hear ya!

I would not drive around like that either but I would have taken pictures to share to the vendor whom you purchased from at least.

Glad to hear you resolve it going through another route.

Sad to hear, I thought Alpine and Alex always got great reviews.

Hopefully they'll step in and make it right

That's shitty to hear. I am not a fan of non-responders either and if color variation is normal, I am going to be heading over to LUX for my AEs.

If that's the case then he's obviously ignored my messages and deserves this review.

luxluxlux : ) Seriously - they are a great compromise and I haven't had one issue. Just bought a second pair for the wife's 328...

Great customer service also - they went out of their way to get them to me by Xmas so she could have her gift : )

Already had them. They weren't bright enough for me.

It's not that the Alpine's don't work, it was that the bulbs he provided didn't provide the same kelvins.
