I think LEDs will allow for many more lighting options and accessorizing. Dunno if anyone has seen the TRON style bike on youtube. Kinda cool in a futuristic way, just might be weird to only have it on the hood ornament and no where else.

Sure, it will allow for more options... but are those options good ones?

...in the early 00's vinyl cutters allowed more people to cover their cars in 2Fast, 2Furious graphics.

...now LED technology will allow more people to [insert fad here], it doesn't necessarily mean it's a good idea.

I see every truck, honda, van...ect with led strips under their head lights nowadays. Becoming an eye sore like those windshield washer led back in the days

I don't disagree. Just pointing out the same thing, a new fad and that it wouldn't look as good as let's say the tron bike if it was only applied on the hood ornament.

What you cant turn it off? So much for parking lots at night. A beacon for every numbnut who would be drawn to your car to either:
Key your car.
Steal the emblem.
Worse.
