BMW Coding Tool

Hello Everyone,

I have installed BMW Coding Tools many times before with no issues.
After a fresh Windows 11 installation, I am getting this error message: Component COMDLG32.OCX or one of its dependencies not...
I do have this component in the Tool folder but can't make the installation work. I've tried pretty much everything I could find, but nada so far.
I'd appreciate if the BMW Coding Tools Yodas could give me a hand here.

Try to launch it with administrator privileges, if still doesn't work I could sent you that ocx

I've put it to work; I don't remember exactly what I did, but it is working now.

You need to register 3 OCX files. Move them to c:\windows\syswow64\

open administrator command prompt
cd c:\windows\syswow64
(Press Enter)
regsvr32 mscomctl.ocx
(Press Enter & wait for "Registration Succeeded" message)
regsvr32 msflxgrd.ocx
(Press Enter & wait for "Registration Succeeded" message)
regsvr32 comdlg32.ocx
(Press Enter & wait for "Registration Succeeded" message)
