Anyone have experience with Demco trailers?

Been casually looking at open deck car haulers to take my M3 to track events. I have used the U-Haul auto transport in the past and liked the concealed ramps, light trailer weight, galvanized finish and low profile. U-Haul doesn't sell their old used trailers to the public, but in searching I found some old Penske trailers on Ironplanet auction sites...

https://www.ironplanet.com/Demco-Car+Carrier+Trailer

Past auctions show the typical sale price to be about $2500, which is $1500 to $2000 less than an open car hauler in my area (WNY) that has a bunch of surface rust and probably needs tires and general TLC (brakes and lights).

Any thoughts on these? I can't seem to find any other literature about them out there.

Check marketplace and Craigslist. I see ex rentals come up in my area. I like uhaul trailers, they're built to be abused as they're rentals, they're convienient with the ramp stow and wheel chocks. Drawbacks include, height and aoa when loading, typically some sort of race ramp are required for loading/unloading or at least some bits of wood. Also I use some bits of wood so the car doesn't go too far forward as the bumper will catch. Weight, they're kind of heavy. Modifications are required to mount a winch, not a huge deal but if I have a track car trailer it needs a winch in case the car can't get back up there on its own power. I see them for about $2k-2500 when they come up. Happy hunting
