BPM tune install problem... Help?

Hey m3post,

I installed the 240E software perfectly, but I went to install the stage 2 tune and got this error :

"Error initializing hardware crypto routine"

Any ideas? Emailed Mike just wanting to see if anyone knows Whatsup... Hopefully I didn't mess up somewhere.

Nothing you did wrong. Please shoot me an email/PM with your full VIN number and we'll get you a new file ASAP.

Got your email, thanks.

New file was just sent. The VIN you entered on our website was one digit off of your actual VIN number, so the software rejected the programming session.

The file we just sent has the correct VIN and will work without issues

Honestly, my first and only stop would've been Benvo, and not the forum. These tunes and install methods are proprietary/secretive, so no one would have been able to help you, especially not in the Engine forum. Benvo's service has always been top-notch; were you waiting for a long time for him to contact you back or something (which is *completely* uncharacteristic of him, anyway)?
