When you say "the right glass", which glasses do you use/prefer? As you can see in the pic above, I use Riedel Vinum Single Malt Whiskey Glass for most of my whisky drinking.

I actually prefer Irish whiskey over Scotch and a majority of my collection is Irish single pot whiskey with a few bottles of Scotch mixed in.

Cheers!
Mostly anything shaped for whiskey as opposed to your standard water glass (which I've definitely used as well, but there does appear to be a difference to me, so I like to use different glasses for my whisky).

Mine are your basic Glenlivet glasses, tulip shaped with a small stout stem. I like them - I think yours should work quite well too though, and Riedel makes good glasses.

Definitely keep an eye out for it!

From earlier this week - was in the mood for an Old Fashioned. Was pleasantly surprised with Blade and Bow bourbon - had never even heard of it and received it as a gift from a family member.

Walked into the liquor store for simple syrup and saw they had Double Black on sale for $34, so thought, why not.

I too poured some bourbon to commemorate the lost souls this weekend but damn I did not pour anything close to what you did.
I only was sipping Jefferson's Reserve.

My drink is Jack Daniels on the rocks, but summer inspires me to add some lighter spirits. Been either making tonic & Bombay Sapphire gin; or some Petron Silver tequila on the rocks with a twist of lime.

I swear the grill doesn't work without drinking cold beer too.

I would have to politely disagree. I tend grill with Jack all the time. Can't really tell nor care how the meat turns out after 3-4 glasses

Highly recommend trying the 1800 Coconut Tequila on the rocks with a lime.

I hate the taste of coconut, but thanks for the recommendation!
