Unhappy Oil Sensor leaks and goes inactive

I need a fix for the leak on my oil senor.
My original sensor went inactive.
I replaced it with new sensor.
But still went inactive.
Then discovered there is a leak by the senor.
I replaced the O ring.
Yet still leaks.
The leaks is bad as it gets into the plug connectors and then senor goes inacive.
How do i stop this leak.
The Sump is perfect and doesn't leak only the sensor.

Did you properly clean the mounting surface, then properly torque down the sensor?

Im on my third oil level sensor, none of them have leaked. This last one is OEM. These cars need an OEM sensor to read the proper oil level, otherwise you can get odd readings. All it needs is a new O-ring and it should not leak. If it does leak you may need to reinstall using an oil resistant adhesive sealant. Make sure to use the sealant sparingly. But, you really shouldn’t have to do that unless the mating surface is damaged.

If you replaced it with a cheap sensor from Amazon, that's the problem. If you installed a genuine OEM sensor and it still leaks, the problem is due to an installation error.

Also need to check for faults. A fault in the BSD (Bit Serial Data) can cause the sensor to not read.

Its very easy to overtorque the nuts on the sensor and for it to leak, if I remember correctly its something like 9nm in 2x stages. 7nm then 2nm.
