Mr12Volt question

I bought a Mr12volt P2000 mim-cic. I'm having a hard tome with the install. Mainly because the instructions that Mr12volt sent and completely different than what I purchased. The video they provide is for their original mmi that came out in 2021, and the one I recently purchased ia much different. I haven't benlen able to find any install info in the exact model that I purchased so I'm running into some install issues. what issues are you running into? i have the same version you listed above for my 2011 e90 m3 CIC. i used the same video in the link BUT played it at .25x speed the slowest playback setting. NOTE: Following these important tips below.

important tips:

1. Do NOT install the loop connector into trunk like they say in this video.
2. Need to code out the cd changer via bimmercode (download app)
- connect via Bluetooth from the app downloaded to your phone with device below you need the device to be able to code this out (very easy).

Steps to code via Bimmercode
Headunit -> Expert Mode -> 3000 HMI
Find CDMM_CHANGER_3 option and change it to mp3_cdc
CODE -> START CODING

Thanks for the Info! I ended up finding this video ( https://youtu.be/kAALG5pDWtk?si=qrbinrw82TQ6sBOt ) and was able to get it up and running. Installing electrical components is my weakness. Also, I ended up not having to code out anything and it seems to be working fine. I've read that some people gave had a similar experience. Not sure if I should just go ahead and code it out just to be safe or not

If you read the instructions you'll see that you only need to install the loop when you have a factory cd changer installed. Otherwise you don't have an active fiber optic connection there, just the disabled connection.

coding is only sometimes required. it tries to auto-code the system itself.
